Event Date: March 4, 2018

March is Women's History Month!

This month's First Sunday activity celebrates the achievements and contributions of women to their communities and society. Make a colorful kite in honor of Amelia Earhart, who made history as the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. As a member of the National Women's Party and the Equal Rights Amendment, she was a staunch advocate for women's rights and equality. Amelia Earhart was also a guest at the Mission Inn in 1936.

Celebrate with us again on March 22 at 6:00 P.M. for the opening of our newest exhibit "Women of the Mission Inn"! Families are welcome!
