This year there are more than 5-million lights on the hotel, 400+ animated characters, horse-drawn carriages, carnival rides, window displays, and a variety of food booths. The 26th Annual Festival of Lights is a public, free event produced jointly by the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa and the City of Riverside. The Festival begins on Friday, November 23, 2018 with the Switch-On Ceremony and ends on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Lights are on daily at 5:00 p.m. The Mission Inn Foundation, an independent nonprofit, offers daily walking tours of the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, a National Historic Landmark. The tour is one of the few ways to access the building without being a hotel guest. Guided by knowledgeable docents, each tour is 75 minutes long and explores the beautifully decorated Mission Revival style hotel!
