Our Youth Ambassador Program connects local high school students to the history of our community through volunteer and service opportunities. Youth Ambassadors experience and share our great city and the Mission Inn by leading exterior family tours, assisting family programs, participating on the Museum's Community Outreach Team, and contributing to community service opportunities.

Applicants should  be dependable, positive, have good communication skills ,and are expected to work with the public. We teach you everything you need to know to be a Youth Ambassador. No previous knowledge of the Mission Inn is required.

Recruitment for the Youth Ambassador Program will begin in late 2021

Here's what some of our current and former Youth Ambassadors are saying about the program:

"I decided to participate in Youth Ambassadors in order to learn about the rich history that makes up such a unique, beautiful and historic city."
     - Seda S., 2016/2017 Youth Ambassador

"The Youth Ambassador's program at the Mission Inn Foundation has allowed me to grow as a public speaker and a humanitarian. This program has been one of the greatest highlights of my high school career. I am so excited to continue this program throughout junior and senior year."
     - Maya S., 2018/2019/2020 Youth Ambassador
