We accept volunteers ages 14 and up, or younger if accompanied by adult support and supervision (i.e., scout troop). Volunteers assist with all aspects of the event including set-up, distributing medals, registration, t-shirts, and tear-down. 2019 Volunteer Registration is now open! Please be advised: If you sign up online after November 6, you may be placed in another volunteer role other than the position selected online. Alternatively, come to the Volunteer Check-In at 6th St. and Market St. to sign up for a volunteer position beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019. 

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST SIGN OR PRESENT A WAVIER OF LIABILITY AT CHECK-IN. If under the age of 18, please print a copy and ask your parent or guardian to sign it before arriving at the event. Click here to access the 2019 Volunteer Waiver.

Each year, on the second Sunday of November, nearly 4,000 athletes journey from Riverside in pursuit of athletic excellence, human connection, and personal accomplishment. Their stories of perseverance, triumph and heart would not be possible without the support and loyalty of our 400 volunteers. On behalf of our many partners with whom we collaborate to make the race happen, we thank you for your volunteer service.
