Event Date: July 21, 2018

The Mission Inn Foundation Lecture Series continues with the life story of a fascinating leader who influenced Riverside's prominent position in southern California and impacted the Mission Inn's national importance and status.

Frank Miller may have been the Master of the Inn but his sister Alice Richardson did the work. Known as Aunt Alice to many, she served as the manager of the Glenwood Cottage and then the Mission Inn for over 60 years. Docent Barbara Burns has meticulously researched Aunt Alice’s life and will provide new insight into this enigmatic woman.

This lecture is offered as free public programming in conjunction with the exhibition Women of the Mission Inn through August 31, 2018.

RSVP requested to info(at)missioninnmuseum.org or by calling 951-788-9556.
