Event Date: January 7, 2018

Join us for free, family-friendly craft and art activities in January as we make Chinese Paper Lanterns

In the Chinese culture, paper lanterns symbolize life and prosperity and were  hung to celebrate important festivals and times of the year. Several Chinese lanterns, made of glass and wood, and metal and fabric, hang in the Mission Inn's Ho-O-Kan Room. Join us this January to make your own paper lantern and celebrate the beginning of 2018!

No reservations needed and walk-ins encouraged. Families participating in the activity are welcome to enjoy a free 30-minute family-friendly exterior tour of the Mission Inn given by our Youth Ambassadors.
